Imagine This
“Wow so many amazing shapes, colors and textures! I especially loved the feeling of swimming in a coral reef created by all the hanging life forms.”
Madalyn Q., in reference to “Imagine This” at the Holter Museum of Art
“When I went to see Chip’s show, I knew it would be a visual delight, but I wasn’t expecting to feel emotional. Thinking about it later I felt it had to do with the inherent notion of flight. To be able to fly is the one skill we humans can’t do without a machine, but amidst Chip’s pieces it’s possible to imagine what it is. His work grants us permission to float, to be weightless, to be unencumbered. In these somber times, this unexpected segue into the joy of life is a precious gift indeed.”
